Lab 34: Classification and Marking

Configure a class-map to match (classify) all packets on R1:

ip cef

class-map match-all CM1
match any

Then, configure a policy-may to mark the classified packets with "5":

policy-map PM1
class CM1
set ip precedence 5

Finally, apply the policy to an interface:

interface FastEthernet0/0
service-policy input PM1

You can check the policy with this command:

R1#show policy-map interface fastEthernet 0/0
FastEthernet0/0

Service-policy input: PM1

Class-map: CM1 (match-all)
0 packets, 0 bytes
5 minute offered rate 0 bps, drop rate 0 bps
Match: any
QoS Set
precedence 5
Packets marked 0

Class-map: class-default (match-any)
0 packets, 0 bytes
5 minute offered rate 0 bps, drop rate 0 bps
Match: any
